Using Verizon Apple One Family Share but Husband Wants his own Apple Music

Hello, we have Apple One Family Share through Verizon. I’ve shared to my husband but for Apple Music, he wants to have his own music and NOT see the music on my plan. He’s signed in on his id on his phone but in Apple Music, it’s showing my user id. I don’t see a way to log out of Apple Music and have him sign in specifically with Apple Music on his user id. How can we use the Family Sharing but have separate Apple Music setups?

Thank you for your response - we figured it out - we had to log out on the Media & Purchases page which was using my id. Once we logged in with his id there, it is now keeping his Apple Music separate.

He should only be seeing your music if he is also signed into your account. You should each have your own account. That's the whole point of Family Sharing. It's so each account in the family group can have access to Apple's service but with their own settings.

If, as you say, he is using his own Apple Account, then something is,uh, screwy with the system. I don't have a Verizon account so I am not familiar with how they do things. When I say "screwy" I mean really, really messed up. I can't think of how he would see your account unless he is signed into it.
