Can’t allow apps to track age problem

I’m trying to turn on tracking for my Avios App so that I can’t collect points. However the option is greyed out. It states I need to be 18 or over which I am. I’ve checked my birthdate in my Apple ID and it’s all correct. How can I fix it? I can’t seem to find a solution anywhere?

side note: When I log of Apple ID, the option allows me to toggle it on/pff. So it’s definitely something to do with my Apple ID

Sign out of the Apple Account, restart the iPhone, then sign back in. Check again.

If that fails, contact Apple Support, as they have a view into your Apple Account.

Check Settings > [your Apple Account] > Personal Information. Is the data shown correct?

Did you turn 18 in 2025? I’ve seen posts here on the Communities where the age isn’t properly accounted until the next calendar year.
