This has been happening ever since I updated to 18. I continuously get notifications from group chats I’ve hidden even when do not disturb or other focus modes are turned on. This is a literal nightmare. I’m trying to present in meetings, focus on work, etc and I get dings all day long. Please for the love of god fix this. I do not care about your AI or any other features as long you can not fix these fairly routine bugs.

I have 10 group message all on silence notification, never receive any notification until I look at my message app and on ios 18.6
How exactly are you hiding notification.
Only ways I know how:
Slide to the left, tap on the bell.
hold down on group message, tap “hide alerts”.
the bell is crossed out, so hide alerts is already on, but I get them. I get alerts all day long even on DND. Only respite is using Apple intelligence to “reduce interruptions”.
it seems to only be happening on my group messages that have android users included. But all messages get through regardless of platform.
Does anyone actually see these?
