Apple TV Man City app states “you are offline, please connect to the internet “

So I have 5 Apple TVs around the house, all work perfectly with all the usual apps, Netflix, Disney, Amazon, and so forth.

however, Apple TV Man City app states “you are offline, please connect to the internet”

obviously I am connected, I’m on the latest OS, I’ve turned off app tracking, deleted the app and downloaded again. But still won’t work.

any suggestions

Try this for any misbehaving app:

Force-quit the app, then relaunch and try again.
If the issue persists, force-quit the app, restart the device, then relaunch and try again.
If the issue still persists, delete the app, re-download and try again.
If the issue still persists after that, then contact the app developer for further assistance.

Thanks, I’ve done all the obvious stuff and more. Looks like I’ll have to contact the app developer, although I’ve heard there not great at responding
