Nieuwe laptop MacBook Pro in gebruik genomen met Photo's versie 10 en besturingssysteem Sequoia. Fotobibliotheek van Photo's gekopiëerd naar externe SSD om op beide apparaten te kunnen werken. Lukt wel, maar bij koppelen aan andere iMac krijg ik telkens boodschap dat bibliotheek gecreëerd werd met nieuwe versie 10 van Photo's, terwijl oude iMac versie 8 bevat met Ventura. Converteert dan hele bibliotheek en werkt dan wél.

VRAAG: Kan ik afzonderlijke APP Photo's versie 10 ergens downloaden (staat niet in App-store). Upgraden van Ventura naar Sequoia met oude iMac kan niet (systeemvereisten niet OK). Dank je wel alvast voor advies.

The only way that you can use a newer Photos Library version on an older Mac is through iCloud.com. Every version can work with iCloud, so if macOS 15 has pictures, they can upload to iCloud.com, and they will download to a Mac with macOS 13 and work perfectly there. Of course, they can't do some things that are only available in Sequoia, but they work there as if they were created on Ventura.
