Has the second alert been removed from Apple Calendar?

I had the second alert in calendar right up until I updated to the latest iphone os on my iphone 13. I have not changed any settings everything is exactly as it has always been. The second alert disappeared after the update. I checked my other iphone 13 which still has the older version and the second alert was still there. I then updated my second iphone and sure enough the second alert disappeared from that phone as well. Remember different regions may have different changes. It is unhelpful to say your second alert is still there if you are in a different region. My region in New Zealand. I also mentioned this to my friend who has an iphone 16 and his second alert has gone as well

You have to set the 1st alert to reveal the 2nd alert field.

I know its a bug or glitch for two reasons.

1) the second alert has disappeared when we first set up the calendar reminder

2) the second alert is still there when we re look at the reminder, without going in to edit it. However when I try to set the second alert it glitches back to none

In that case, please report the bug to Apple: Product Feedback - Apple. (iOS 18.6.2 did not correct the issue?)

Thanks for the screenshot.

I changed my time zone to New Zealand (Auckland), restarted my iPhone and was successful in setting a 2nd alert. So, the issue is not time zone-related.

Since you have 2 iPhone plus a friend's having the same issue, I would recommend contacting Apple Support directly: https://getsupport.apple.com/.

I already know that. Setting the first alert did activate the second alert before I updated my phone. But now the second alert does not appear after setting first alert. I don’t know why people don’t believe that this is happening. You will believe when Apple starts rolling this out to other regions

I don't know if there is a connection with your region but you could be right. I can tell you that, in mine, I still have the 2nd alert using iOS 18.6.1.

It looks like a bug or glitch that was introduced as a result of the ios update
