Apple Music volume issues on my iPhone and car stereo after an iOS update

Since the last update I have to use either an external speaker or my AirPods to listen to Apple music. I can’t even turn it up enough on my car stereo to hear the music which never happened before. Sometimes it will be ok on the phone if I use the external speaker/airpods then disconnect and play good.
