Bluetooth issues on my iPhone after iOS 18.6 update

You cannot pair and iPhone and iPad to each other. They are not designed to do that. You mention a keyboard, what are you trying to pair the keyboard to? Have you checked the pairing instructions for the keyboard?

One last question, is wi-fi working on your device? If it is possible that it is a hardware issue that is causing Bluetooth not to work, it is the same chip that controls wi-fi, so it may not work either.

So, do your Part: Provide Apple with feedback on this, letting them know about this issue.  Apple may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they receive on this, the more they will know what is occurring, and what bug fixes to include in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of you occurrences, if you don't report it to them.

3. Comment: that this all began after installing an update. Include the URL of this thread
4. Proceed from there as necessary

Just downloaded the new iOS – and now it will not connect to my Honda pilot. I’ve tried deleting the device from my car and deleting my car from my phone to restart. It still doesn’t work. I’ve also rebooted my phone to no avail.

Having Bluetooth issues here as well. I have to reboot my phone every time I want to try and connect to my car. Same with my AirPods. It tries to connect and then it just fails. I reboot the phone and it will work for a little bit before it runs into problems again.

This is incredibly infuriating with all these connected devices not working. Currently on 18.6.2.

I have the exact same problem since i updated my iphone 15 pro max to ios 18.6.2 , my airpod pro connects first time but the next time i have to restart my phone for make it connect and it’s the same pattern with other non apple earphones. The bluethoot issues is clearly from the 18.6.2 update.

Horrendous bluetooth support

my powerbeat pro headphones have constant connection issues, e.g. spinning connection, etc.

my wireless carplay won't connect.

the only solution has been to manually turn off bluetooth and back on, then select connect from the device list.

I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max running iOS 18.6.2, a pair of AirPods Pro 2, and a pair of Beats Fit Pro, and I hadn’t experienced any issues until recently. For the past six months, they keep disconnecting and reconnecting. I have disconnected and reconnected all devices. I have also reset my network settings and tried almost everything. I’m still having the same issues. For calls I have to use a wired EarPods or forget about having a descent conversation. This is really getting frustrating!

The very next day I was able to get connected to my car.
