Music App - why won't it ever retrieve the CD album image???

So you go to make MP3 from the CD, so you insert it and then the Music app reads the CD and makes the MP3 when you press "Import CD."

It's supposed to automatically retrieve the album cover image and download it onto the songs in that album, is it not?

I hit "Get Album Artwork" - but it NEVER works.

Why doesn't it ever do it? What is the point of having this feature if it doesn't do what it says? Seems like a waste of time coding it and then never working, reminds of the 90s LMAO

It works if you have the album title correct. A work around is to search in iTunes and when you get the correct album title paste that to the album you have ripped from a cd and then hit Get Album Art. It has worked for me as a work around.

if the album is not on iTunes or Gracenotes data base you may want to manually put the album art to your library.

Errr...... obviously I can do it manually and have been doing so, for 20 years LMAO

I meant, with recent CDs, there should be no reason why it wouldn't pull it from the net

But thanks. I guess they haven't figured out the CD labelling technology yet LMAO
