app store asking for an email to download that is not connected to my account

Ok, so I went to update the apps on my iPad and it wanted my mom’s password to update the apps instead of mine. I assume it’s because I got an iPad before a iPhone and it used to be connected to my mom’s account. Here’s the deal: I’m signed into my account on my iPad. And I have not found anywhere in my account that says it’s connected to my mom’s. I just need to know how to disconnect it so the next time I want to download something on my iPad I don’t have to rely on my mom’s account.
