I am a hiker in Colorado so using maps offline is mandatory for me. I currently use an app called Gaia and sometimes AllTrails. But if I can use Apple Maps to accomplish the same thing I’d like to try it.

Offline maps are based on the iPhone’s as well as Apple Watch’s Maps app. So they’re Apple Maps.

Thanks for the insight. I can see how it does work but functionally no where close to what I am currently using. Some of the trails I use are quite complicated on 14k mountains. But thanks again.
