Unable to charge or turn on my MacBook Air (2024)

Device:

Apple 2024 MacBook Air 13-inch Laptop with M3 chip: Built for Apple Intelligence, 13.6-inch Liquid Retina Display, 16GB Unified Memory, 512GB SSD Storage

Issue:

The computer does not turn on (read all the posts about holding down the power button for 10 seconds, etc). None of these worked. The unit seems to be discharged after a few days of being on vacation. I hooked up the power outlet to a watt meter and see that even when plugged into the USB-C or MagSafe charger it does not draw any power whatsoever. I tested another MacBook and phone I have and it worked fine with the same charger.

Any ideas? This unit is just over a year old.
