Help deleted songs while on iphone, chose delete from playlist but must have accidently chose library?

on iphone i deleted some songs from what i was playlist but i must have removed from library because i can't find. i opened itunes and they are not there, they are albums i have had on there since 2007 or 2008. I looked in icloud but don't see a music folder!? so if i deleted from iphone how did they get deleted from itunes. Where can I find these albums and songs? I did google and followed several suggestion but still can't find. thanks

Do you have a subscription to either Apple Music, or iTunes Match? If so had you removed downloads from your computer to free up space? Removals from your cloud library are repeated everywhere, but on a computer locally stored files get marked with an Cloud Status of Removed, rather than actually being deleted, giving an opportunity to add them back to the library. If the iPhone is synced with your computer then playlist changes may sync back to it, but removing tracks from the device should not affect those in the library.

Do you have any backups, other devices, or old computers your missing content might be recovered from?
