How Can I Download Final Cut Pro on my Older Mac after Purchasing it on a Newer One?

I've purchased Final Cut Pro on a Mac running macOS Sequoia 15.6. I have successfully downloaded and installed it on that Mac without issue. However, I had read numerous sources online saying I can then go to the "purchases" tab of the Mac App Store on my older Mac and download the last compatible version for my OS, in this case 10.13.6 High Sierra. I can see the app with the download button, but when I click on it, I'm met with the "You must update to macOS 14.6 in order to download and use this application." message. If it matters, the target Mac is a 2010 Mac Pro. The High Sierra App Store also has an issue I'm aware of where it will not show the tabs but I was able to access the purchases page by typing "macappstores://showPurchasesPage".

Any help is appreciated.

Apple only keeps one (maybe two) versions back. So if we're on 11.1.1 right now, it may only go back to 11.0. If we're lucky, the last version of 10.x will be available, maybe. But only a couple of the most recent versions are keep around. I doubt Apple still publishes a version compatible with High Sierra. That's getting pretty old in "Apple Time."
