USB Not connecting to car or carplay

My iPhone 12 pro max will not connect to my cars entertainment system or its carplay system via usb. The charger port is fine, it charges fine, it connects to computers fine, but doesn’t connect to a car. I’ve tried on many different cars and it just refuses to connect. I’ve used many different chargers but it doesn’t work. Here’s the thing: It works in other people’s phones like my friends phone, the wired carplay works perfectly fine and the music works fine, it’s only my phone that doesn’t. I want to listen using carplay but only wireless carplay works and unfortunately not every car comes with wireless carplay, so I sometimes need to use wired carplay. Can someone help with this?
