iMessages not link to names in Outlook or

On new Macbook Air M4, running Sequoia 15.5 Messages displays only phone numbers, not names, as my older MacBook did.

I am, in general, confused about how to set up Outlook, where my full address book resides, to sync with Mac Contacts and with Messages, so that the latter will draw names from my address book.
