Messages keeps reverting to All from Known Senders, allowing through spam

iOS 18.5.

Like everyone else, I get tons of text message spam. So I use the “known senders” filter in Messages to filter out the spam.

Except recently the phone keeps switching itself out of the “known senders” view and back into “all messages,” showing the spam.

I’ve seen another thread about this from last year, but the thread was closed.

This is still an issue with the current version of iOS.

Apple, fix this!
