The iPhone 6 Plus, a phone that ran iOS 8 when Apple released it nearly 11 years ago, cannot update past iOS 12. Many app developers have abandoned support for iOS 12 and the iPhone 6 Plus.
I'm guessing that it is time for the OP to go shopping for a new iPhone.
