Trouble with broken macbook pro

I've had this macbook pro that broke in the beginning of 2024 (super bowl time) and i've finally gotten the chance to connect it to a monitor but my issue is that i can't use my touchbar to mirror since its broke and my screen is completely black. I'm able to put in my password but it's incorrect each time so i think i'm a lost cause.. If there's any way to fix this problem with paying money for it please let me know ASAP!

<< i can't use my touchbar to mirror since its broke and my screen is completely black. >>

then try this, suggested by Senior Contributor HWTech:

connect all of these:

External display or TV set

Mac power adapter

external keyboard

external mouse

Then start it up and when you think the login screen should have appeared, CLOSE the display. Your external display should light up if the Mac is otherwise working.

The cost of repair wouldn’t be an issue if you had AppleCare+.

I recommend service.
