How do I resolve Samsung device Bluetooth connection issues with iPad?

I use my iPad just to stream my music to my jbl party box at work in a busy workshop.

Anything I play, no matter what from (Spotify, Apple Music) cuts in and out a lot (Bluetooth).

I've narrowed it down to anyone with a Samsung who comes into Bluetooth range is connecting to the Bluetooth. And that’s a lot of people.

every time this happens, the sound cuts out a few seconds then back again, it’s really annoying.

the only way I can stop it, is to set the screen to always on, and stay in the Bluetooth page showing the devices.

the devices come and go, but do not ‘connect’ when in this page.

if I leave this page, say to go to Spotify to choose another song, the music starts cutting out and when I go back to the Bluetooth page, two or more Samsung’s are ‘connected’.

there is no i next to them, and i can not do anything with them.

they disconnect after a few seconds of being on that page, and do not re connect when it’s open.

only then do I have no issues.

I’ve tried several things suggested online, but these phones keep connecting.

HELP PLEASE.

If your iPad is not operating as expected, try a forced-restart - as this will often clear an isolated software issue:

Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)

If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
  3. Press and hold the top button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.

If the problem persists after performing the restart, it may be necessary to reset your iPad settings. While this reset will not cause any loss of data, as a precaution, it is always wise to ensure that you have a current iCloud or iTunes backup before performing the reset:

When you are happy to proceed, you can perform the reset from iPad settings:

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset > Reset All Settings

If the problem still doesn’t clear, the next step is to reset the iPad to factory settings:

Otherwise, you would be best advised to seek assistance directly from Apple Support. You can contact the Support Team using the Support link at top-right or bottom-left of this page. Alternatively and perhaps easier, you can initiate and manage your support cases using the excellent Apple Support App. If not already installed on your iPad, the App can be downloaded from the App Store:

I have re set the settings i can that you said, no joy. I can’t do a full re set as the iPad was given to me by a friend. It’s really old, i was just wanting it to stream.

its locked to his cloud etc and we have tried to unlock it but he can’t remember his details and the email used was his work one from many years ago he can no longer access, so no hope there.

as soon as I leave the Bluetooth page, devices connect to the iPad.

It seems that you're between a rock and a hard place. You have a device that has a problem, but are unable to troubleshoot due to lack of credentials.

As your friend failed to reset his Apple Account (AppleID) to use an email address to which he retained access, it's pretty much game-over for the iPad. Given the indicated age of the iPad, you might be best advised to cut your losses - and replace the iPad with a much newer or current model.

Many retailers are offering temping deals for iPads. You'll no doubt find one that meets both your needs and available budget.

Interesting, but that is a totally different problem than the one in your original post, which said

The actual problem appears to be that the iPad is activation locked.
