iPhone 16pro max not working with carplay

I’ve tried connecting my 16 pro max to my CarPlay in my 2021 jeep rubicon and it’s not working. I’ve tried different cables and it won’t connect with CarPlay or Bluetooth. It connects to Bluetooth but doesn’t play anything through the jeep
