Finder over time can break and make the system unusable?

Yes is true it happened on my computer and the only way you can fix it is by erasing your Macintosh HD and install copy of your latest macOS or your macOS that your apple iMac & MacBook can handle only

Without more information, it's very hard to say exactly what caused your issue. The Finder "breaking over time" isn't a likely cause, though.

It's not clear if you're asking for help or if you have already resolved your issue. If you want help, you'll need to give us a lot more information.

There are many reasons why the Mac might misbehave. A Finder that doesn't respond properly can be a symptom of any number of problems, including data corruption, conflicting software installations, drive failures, etc.

As @IdrisSeabirght has pointed out, without more specifics and details about your particular problems, putting the finger on the actual culprit is near impossible.

FYI, reinstalling the OS is a fix for very many different problems including, apparently, whatever problem you have experienced.
