Managed to check the iPod data 8586 songs 84.1 Gb
Mounted the iPod on my mac mini
Ran Neofinder to find all songs on the iPod
Exported the results as csv file
Loaded to Numbers
After some manipulation totals 8586 songs 83.4 Gb
6966 ACC
1218 AIFF
400 MP3
Ran Neofinder on Music folder
still working ...
No clear answer.
comparing files on mac mini with songs in iTunes.
some aiff files were uploaded and downloaded (yes they were large 10Mb and larger)
most aiff files were downloaded as acc
could not get an accurate count because
copy song page
does not capture type and size : (
(paste into numbers ss)
apple seems to have those columns blocked
song counts are not consistent either
not happy that it does not make sense
wasted a bunch of time resizing my library so it would "fit"
