Stop Notes from creating links I don’t want

I often use a Note to remind me of bills paid or deposit records until I can get them recorded elsewhere.

Notes seems obsessed w turning strings of number/letter info (like a payment confirmation number) into a link. I use the “remove link” function, it goes away, and I close the Note.

The next time I open the Note, it re-creates the link.

How do I make “remove link” persist in a Note?
