I signed up for an Apple One acct but about half of my Music is no longer available on my Apple devices. What’s up?

Did you cancel your Apple Music subscription before signing up for Apple One? It is recommended that you do not cancel before signing up to Apple One and they will automatically be cancelled without any interruption in service.
Frankly, I can’t recall the order in which all of this occurred. With respect to canceling my Apple Music account I never had one. I simply had an iMusic account and had access to songs I had purchased or uploaded from my own sources (CD, LP etc.) on my iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air. I canceled my separate iCloud account upgrade account after signing up for Apple One as they both provided the same storage capacity.
