Lost all my Apple Music playlists and songs after subscription renewal

Hi! I renewed my Apple Music subscription, but all my playlists and songs disappeared. I’m using the same Apple ID and Sync Library is on. Can you please help me recover my music? I didn’t delete anything.

Unfortunately, I believe that what you experienced is normal.

If you let an Apple Music subscription lapse,

All "offline listening" copies of subscription songs stop working (and probably get removed)
All playlists that included subscription songs get deleted
All copies of songs that were synchronized through Sync Music / iCloud Library also stop working or get deleted

Taking out a new subscription will not bring this stuff back. You must manually create new playlists and download new "offline listening" copies all over again.
