The option for English dub doesn't work for 'The Chief Of War' on Apple TV+ app

I cannot turn off the captions. I cannot watch the show in English (without the verbal descriptions of actions taken). I don't want captions. I don't want English AD. The option for "no captions" does not work. The option for English dub does not work. It looks like a show worth watching, but I will not be enjoying it. It looks like Apple+ screwed up a major production and ruined it.

This is intentional on the part of the movie producers. The first two episodes are presented in native Hawaiian with english subtitles. Now that the main character is on an English ship the language will include english.

According to the internet the producers insisted (despite concerns from the studio) on using Hawaiian to present the language in a positive way. So you will not be able to switch to english dubbing.

What you want isn’t always what you get. You may think Apple “screwed up” but reviewers and audiences are raving about the series. I am mesmerized by the concept and the true story nature of it.
