iMessage Not Activating After 3 Years of Working — Tried Everything

Hi everyone,

I’ve been using iMessage without any issues for over 3 years. But today, out of nowhere, my iMessage stopped working specifically for my phone number. It’s just stuck on “waiting for activation” or keeps showing as “loading.”

I’ve already tried everything Apple recommends:

• Toggled iMessage off and on
• Signed out and back into Apple ID
• Reset network settings
• Removed and reinserted the SIM
• Checked date/time settings
• Restarted the phone
• Verified internet connection (Wi-Fi and data both working)

Despite all that, it still won’t activate. And the worst part — it’s eating up my SIM balance, probably by trying to send those hidden activation messages repeatedly.

This has never happened before, and I haven’t changed my phone, SIM, or Apple ID recently.

Checked with carrier as well everythings fine on there end.

Any help or insight would be really appreciated. Is anyone else facing this?
