Mail server error fix for macOS Calendar on Monterey 12.7.6

MacOS Calendar terminal error running on Monterey 12.7.6, which for my computer, is the most recent update and most compatible operating system.

Calendar terminal error pop up window would not go away and I could not kill it with ctrl-q or command-q

Solution that worked was written in a previous post for a different operating system by Mac User:randomnumber. Thank you sir for the help! Post closed so I could not respond to you.

The solution lies as a Calendar sync issue with the Mail application.

1. Start your mail application. Click on the Mail icon from your bottom main screen toolbar to launch the application.
2. From the mail application, Select the "Mail" listing on the top toolbar
3. Select Accounts. This launches a pop-up window of all your email accounts on your Mac
4. On the left-hand side, you will find a list of all your email accounts in this mail application.
5. Select each account, then deselect the calendar component in each mail account.
6. Close the mail application
7. Then close the calendar application.
8. Launch the mail application again
9. Follow steps 3 and 4 above.
10. Reselect the calendars option for each mail account
11. Relaunch the calendar application

Here is what worked for me.

in Mail, Click on Mail, then click on Accounts

Select the account that is not syncing correctly and turn off Calendar. It then asked if I wanted to delete all from my Mac, (yes).

Quit mail, quit calendar.

Go back into Mail Accounts and turn back on Calendar.

Annoyingly, it will repopulate the calendar but also send you all of your calendar invites back to you, but otherwise it worked great to do this way and now it is synced.

This worked for me, I have 3 different mail accounts but only 1 was not working correctly with Sequoia since the update.
