Apple DOT COM billing discrepancy on bank statement

Apple DOT COM instead of Apple.com is appearing on my bank statement every month. I believe it may be fraudulent. Has anyone else heard of this company?

There is a way you can check it yourself. Start here:

If you see 'apple.com/bill' on your billing statement - Apple Support

The most important part of that article is "View your purchase history."

However, I believe you are a crime victim. If Apple does NOT show a record of the charges in your history, it is very likely that scammers have gained access to your credit card or bank number and are pretending to be Apple. It happened to us.

If that is the case, Apple will have no record of what criminals do, and only your CARD ISSUER or BANK can remedy it.

Please see these news articles describing this decade-old scam, whose perpetrators pretend to be other big retailers as well.:
