Having issues with certain websites and apps

I’m pretty sure it’s only started happening since the ios18 update. A few websites and their apps such as Debenhams and Sports Direct give me various issues preventing me ordering successfully. Debenhams for example either won’t add items to my shopping bag stating there was an error or if it does add the item it’s not there when I look, I can’t log into the app at all and for Sports Direct I can’t log add items but can’t check out and finish my purchase. This is happening with different iPhones running the same firmware but using other peoples accounts.

I have cleared my cache, used a different browser, restarted my phone etc but clearly this is an issue with the iPhone. Any fix as it’s extremely frustrating and hasn’t been fixed with recent updates.

That website uses a couple of redirects, but works fine here, on iPadOS 18.6. (No macOS 15.6 handy to check.)

Please download and run (free) EtreCheck, and share the results to the clipboard. Then open a new reply here, and press the Additional Text button that looks like a printed page, and paste and post the hardware and software configuration report here. From that, we can get a little more detail about what is installed and what is running here.

If these are apps you're using, which are not Apple Apps, contact the app developers for help with their Apps. Apple has no control over 3rd party applications. They don't own the code in them nor can they fix them. It's up to the app developers to ensure their apps are updated for the latest iOS updates.

You can check to see if there are app updates for the apps. You can delete the apps and reinstall them and see if that helps.

I can't log into any of these sites on Safari. When I click the login button, the page refreshes removing my login info rather than logging into the sites. The Hannaford site gives an Access Denied message " Access Denied

You don't have permission to access "http://www.hannaford.com/user/login.cmd" on this server.

Everything is working fine in Chrome.

FIXED!

I just unchecked "block all cookies" in my Safari Privacy settings and now everything works normally.

Weird because I hadn't made any changes to my settings anytime recently. My Safari problem started a few days ago while I was traveling. I was still having the problem after returning home. Not sure if "block all cookies" had always been checked in my settings or not. Unchecking it seems to have cured whatever was wrong.

Thanks for taking a look and trying to assist.
