Unable to find disk while installing OS X on MacBook pro

I’m trying to reinstall after erasing data. Now I’m trying to install os c ei capitan but it is showing ‘select the disk where you want to install OS X’ but there is no disc showing.. what should I do now

What model-year MacBook Pro?


in Recovery, launch Disk Utility and see if the Physical device is present.

(You may have to use the tiny View menu to 'show all devices' but maybe not)

Check the Physical device for a reasonable non-zero size/capacity

NB> The device that holds 'MacOS Base System', of size about 2 GB, is a disk image of the software that is running Recovery software itself. It has no extra space and can not be used to install onto.
