How can I restore the alphabetical sidebar in Apple Music app?
In the Music app, when going to a specific artist's list of albums, there used to be a sidebar allowing you to quickly jump to a letter to find a specific album, but this now appears missing.
For example, if I go to the Artist menu and select any (In the picture below, Rush), it just shows the various albums, but no sidebar:
This sidebar is present on the right hand side in other menus, for example, in the Artists list itself:
That sidebar would display when I actually went into the Artist page listing all their music I had on my phone.
It is also still present in the overall Albums list:
As mentioned, I know this alphabetical sidebar was present in the past, as I regularly used it after going directly to an Artist from the Artists menu. I believe at some point in the past, it was disabled and only present for Artists that either had a certain number of albums. I also vaguely recall that there was some trick to re-enabling it on specific artists, as I remember doing so in the past for those who I have a large number of albums for, but now it does not display for any of them.
I have tried the usual basic steps: Force closing and restarting the Music app, restarting the phone itself, resynching the iTunes library (All music is files uploaded directly through iTunes and stored on the phone itself, this is how I've always done it), confirming everything is updated to the latest versions (iOS 18.6 on iPhone SE 3), and checking within the app settings as well, but do not see anything obviously related to this option.
Is there any way to re-enable this alphabetical sidebar in the specific Artists menus?
Thanks,
