Facebook icon persists on Apple Watch after update

Hey! Had the same issue - double tapped crown and closed out of everything I could find there. What worked for me was from my Lock Screen swiping right- that’s where the Facebook showed again with the green checkmark and it let me slide that to the left with an ‘X’ to clear it fully! Hope it helps!

I have absolutely the same problem, HELP, how did you clear it?

It disappeared at the end of the day… No idea what the problem was or how it was solved 🤷🏼‍♀️

I have the same issue, turned off Smart Stack, which I think it is, no dice. Restart, no dice. Annoying being there considering it’s something I never wanted. Help!

I fixed mine!! From the Home Screen of the Apple Watch swipe up. All of your open items will appear. Swipe left on the Facebook icon and it will have an x. Mine is gone now. Hope that helps you.

Nothing is working, it won’t go away! The Facebook app is not even showing on my watch in the apps and I don’t use it on my watch. Any other suggestions will be appreciated.

Mine ended up just going away on its own.

Is Facebook on Apple Watch free.. cant get it to work

I tried what has been suggested, no luck. App for FB is not on the watch, notifications are not on for FB. Check mark and X are no help.
