My iPod Classic will not sync after installing Sequoia 15.6

I have routinely synced my iPod Classic on my iMac desktop for years.


However, after installing 15.6 last night, the syncing process with my iPod Classic isn't working; i.e., the sync process starts, hangs, and then fails to conclude!


...Is anyone else experiencing this problem?...Is there anything that can be done about it?...


[ NOTE: I also have an iPod Touch, which I synced today without any problem. Also, I have already rebooted the iPod Classic, the Music application, my iMac computer, and that sort of obvious thing!)

Did you try with the iPod Classic plugged in restarting the Mac...(?)
