Answering analog landline calls on HomePod mini and placing calls on iPhone

How can I answer analog landline calls on a homepod mini and place calls on my iPhone. Is there a solution Voip? Other 3rd party gizmo. My mother is 99 yrs old and can't see the numbers on her landline phone handset. I'd like to see if she could use a HomePod mine to answer and male calls that come into her landline. I can also connect an old iPhone 6 if that makes it easier to place calls but she still needs to answer the landline. Any one know if this is possible? Thank you.

She can't answer her landline phone calls on her HomePod. Amazon used to offer such a service through there Echo devices but even they have discontinued that.

You could see how it works to forward her landline to an iPhone. However, the iPhone would need to have an active cell phone number.

It might be easier just to buy her a phone with bigger numbers. Something like this:

Big Button Phone (Amazon)
