My Mainstage patches are arppegiating for no reason

I've used Mainstage patches in Logic for years, but I've encountered a problem I can't find a solution to. When I plug in my midi keyboard controller and select a patch from the Mainstage Legacy options, say pizzicato strings, the strings come out arpeggiated. The weird part is that there are no active arpeggiators on any of my channels. So I'm genuinely not sure why the patches are arpeggiating on their own. I'm happy to answer any questions you all might have.
