Logic Pro X. Tracks won't play back unless copied to another track. HEELLLLPPPPP

Logic Pro X. Recorded tracks do not play back unless I copy them to another track. This is totally bizarre. I have no plugins running, no sends, and the input and output settings are correct. Can anyone help me? I 'm on a Mac Studio, running Sonoma 14.6.1 --- Can NOT figure this out and it's killing me.

Sir,

Sir, you should update your Logic Pro to the latest compatible version. Be sure to back up your current version just in case things go south. My system was acting erratically yesterday, and by simply updating my OS, I was able to get back up and running. Good luck!

Back up the Logic Pro app

  1. Create a new folder in the Applications folder. Name the folder with the name and version of the application (for example, "Logic Pro 11.1.2"). To check the version of Logic Pro you have, open the application and choose About Logic Pro from the Logic Pro menu.
  2. Select the Logic Pro application in the Applications folder. Choose File > Compress "Logic Pro." It will take a few minutes to compress.
  3. Move the resulting "Logic Pro.zip" file into the folder you created in step 1.
  4. If you need to save space on your startup disk, move the folder containing the ZIP file to an external storage device, then delete the folder in your Applications folder.
