iMessage activation failure with Apple ID on iPhone

Hello, my iMessage won't activate with my Apple ID. Could you please help me resolve this issue?

Check your connection


  • Make sure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi or cellular network.


Make sure your settings are correct


  1. Go to Settings > Messages
  2. Make sure iMessage is turned ON
  3. Tap Send & Receive and confirm your Apple ID is signed in
  4. Also check Settings > FaceTime and confirm it’s signed in too


Check your Apple ID and time settings


  • Go to Settings > General > Date & Time and enable Set Automatically
  • Then go to Settings > Your Name > Sign Out, restart your device, and sign back in to your Apple ID


Restart your device


  • Sometimes a quick restart can help the system refresh and complete the activation process.
