some episodes in purchased box set series will not play
I purchased the box set of a series and in Season 4 several episodes, at least four, will not play. Has anyone else experienced this and do you have a fix?

Sure, I get that, but if it works on one device but not another, that may help troubleshoot the issue. In any case, it sounds like an issue on Apple’s end(though they will probably ask about the multiple device question). I would contact their technical support team. Get all your info before you call- device type and what OS version it’s running, app version number, etc. Good luck, I know how frustrating it is.
It would be helpful to know to what series you are referring. Are you getting any sort of error messages? Have you tried playing on a different device? I have seen episodes completely missing(e.g. South Park S14, E5 & E6) but have not heard about episodes just not playing.
The series is Girls, an old HBO show. It's season 4 episodes 2, 5 and 9. If it were just one episode I'd probably just blow it off and move on, but 3? That kind of irritates me. The error message is "There's a problem connecting for playback. Try again later" But when you try again later, nothing happens. It still won't play.
Also, I haven't tried on another device, I suppose I could but I really want to watch it on the TV. I don't like viewing on my phone or iPad.
