Every time I open my MacBook Pro, I have to unplug and plug my dongle back in.

Dongle is so I can use my Logitech mouse. I think this only started happening with the latest update, within the past year or so.

MacBook Pro 16″, macOS 15.5

You didn't mention if your Logitech dongle is the older USB Unifying Receiver, or the newer USB Logi Bolt Receiver.

Regardless, your Logitech dongle probably appears to macOS as a low-power HID device, and if it’s not being properly detected upon wake, that’s likely why unplugging and plugging it back in gets it working again. This usually affects non-Thunderbolt hubs more than Thunderbolt ones, and is more common when hubs are bus-powered.

Some things you can try:

  1. Plug the dongle directly into the Mac (via a USB-C adapter if needed) rather than a hub.
  2. Use a powered USB-C hub instead of a bus-powered one, if you're not already.
  3. Disable “Put hard disks to sleep when possible” in System Settings > Battery > Options.
  4. Install Logitech Options+ or Logi Bolt software if your mouse supports it — newer drivers may handle reconnects more gracefully.
  5. Optionally, use Bluetooth for the mouse if supported — it's more reliable on wake and doesn't suffer the same hub-related flakiness.
