Request for Support Regarding Display Issue on MacBook Air M2
Dear Apple Support,
This is Anup. In 2023, my uncle sent me a MacBook Air (M2, 13-inch, Model: MLY13LL/A) from the United States. After using it for a short time, the display was accidentally damaged.
As I live in Bangladesh, and there is no official Apple Store or authorized service center here, I was compelled to replace the display through a third-party repair shop in February 2024.
Recently, I’ve noticed a persistent purple line on the left side of the screen. I’m concerned that there might be more internal issues that are not visible yet.
I still have the original broken display panel stored with me.
I would like to know:
If I bring the MacBook to an official Apple Store in the USA in the future, will you be able to repair or restore the display, even under paid service or replace a new MacBook ?
Also, will there be any restrictions or issues because I had the display previously replaced by a third-party technician?
