iPod shuffle 2nd gen not recognized by computer after reset

So my friend had a ipod shuffle 2nd gen and he gave it to me but it wasn’t working so I reset it using iPod recovery tool and it reset then i put music on there and when I charge it, it blinks red two times then blink green. I searched it up online and it says it needs to be recovered then I try to recover it and it won’t be recognize by my computer and the iPod recovery tool keeps saying waiting for iPod to be ready and the reset box is greyed out. WHAT DO I DO?

Original Title: I just reset my iPod shuffle 2nd gen with iPod recovery tool, the light did not indicate a charge and my computer doesn’t recognize it.
