how do i download iphone apps with new side double click

Trying to download an app from App Store, 2nd app that wants me to confirm by side slider double click.

id never had that until last few weeks. I see the line on the side & it says confirm by double click on the side. I tried tapping twice.

Not familiar with how to click using iPhone 14.

what am I missing? Tried tapping twice but that doesn’t seem to be what it wants.

Got a new medical device that can be controlled by app. As well as it has demos. But not having success downloading it.

had this happen with another app I tried to download recently. But that wasn’t so important so just quit trying.

I’m on iPhone 14. I think latest iOS.

You have to quickly click twice in quick succession, no delay in between. Please try it again.

If that does not work, you can adjust the speed of the side double click by following the steps below. I hope this helps you.

It’s not working. I changed it to slowest. & it’s just NOT doing anything.

I don’t know who came up with that but that is so non Apple where things are supposed to be simple & obvious.

id never before this recent change had trouble downloading & installing an app.

Unless my screen sensitivity is off for that part of the screen. But it does respond by that slide disappearing. But no sign of it installing.

Well the instructions were clear as mud.

I finally has to do a chat with Apple. I was trying to tap on the screen where the bar was. She said no it’s the power button.

they should have said that.
