iPad mini 7 slows down in Safari only while charging

Hi everyone,

I recently got a new iPad mini 7 running the latest iPadOS, and I’ve noticed a strange issue:

When the device is charging via USB-C, Safari performance drops significantly. Some heavier websites won’t load properly or become very sluggish.

As soon as I disconnect the USB-C charging cable, everything works perfectly again.

I don’t have Low Power Mode or any related settings enabled that could explain this behavior.

Is this normal thermal or power management behavior on the iPad mini 7, or is this possibly a bug?

Has anyone else experienced the same thing?
