Family Watch iOS password for child’s iCloud account

i have two children ages 11 and 12 both with family ios watches. We use Verizon as our carrier, I have iCloud setup in the account.for their email addresses. I had to purchase a new phone and consequently had to unpair and the.re-pair the watches. My young son’s watch moved seamlessly. My older son’s watch wouldn’t pair, so I deleted all settings to pair it fresh. I changed the password for his iCloud account 8/2023 and I failed to record the password. When I made changes to his lassoed password I would receive information that the password changed, as I was parent for that account along with trusted device issued to me. I can’t get the password reset, I called apple support. Which wasn’t much help as they stated, however again I’m trusted account and I have his number mail & login fall back to my iCloud account. Apple tech said I had to wait 24 hours, after which I’d be prompted to set a new password. Now I tried to login and Apple has giving me 6 days as it’s in account recovery. My Austic son doesn’t have a watch or any means of communication. Why can’t Apple fall back and verify all the credit card info and parent information to allow me to reset the device? I can’t wait 6 days, he went 12 hours and he was fit to be tied. I need help getting his watch back online, and paired as family watch.

iPhone 16 Pro Max, iOS 18
