Apple TV does not give a completion status bar after watching a movie or show.

Most streaming services give an indication of watch status or completion with a display bar. This is a serious deficiency for Apple TV not to provide this. We have to guess at what we’ve watched up to a certain point.

  • Apple TV+ shows get a checkmark for each watched episode.
  • Partially watched content has a partially filled bar overlay over the preview image.
  • Continue Watching keeps track of your watch progress in a series, as a direct way for your continuation point.
