On the iPhone the easiest way is to pause the video at the frame that you want and to make a screenshot.


If you are having a Mac as well you can extract a frame in Photos for Mac:

  • Open the video in Edit mode,
  • then scroll to the frame you want and
  • use the command "File > Export > Save frame to Pictures".

You will find the selected frame in the Pictures folder.From there you can import it to Photos.
