iMac Screen problems with silicone chips

Has Apple corrected this on iMac M4 machines yet? I was going to buy one to replace my 2015 intel iMac. My 27 inch Retina screen is terrific. Watching Netflix etc on it is better than TV. Rumor that a new iMac design is coming out? Hope it is as good as my intel iMac...

The problem seemed to be limited to the M1 iMacs only.

If you're considering a new 24" M4 iMac consider the following: a 10 Core Mac Mini M4 with 16 GB RAM and 1 TB SSD ($999 + tax) with a 27" LG 4k monitor ($250 + tax from Amazon.com)  is $1249 + tax which is $560 less than a similarly configured new 24" iMac ($1799 + tax)  re 07/2025.

You can save even more if you get a smaller monitor, i.e. 27" w/o speakers.

I got the combination above and it's a terrific setup - blazingly fast. I am extremely happy with my choice.

I got the 32" monitor because I wanted to run it a reduced resolution (due to failing eyesight) and still have adequate screen real estate.

Just some food for thought.
