MacOS Catalina can't download final cut pro 10.4.8 version from app Store.

It Prompt Up you must Update to OS sonoma when i try to download final cut pro 10.4.8 version,are there any others way to download it without update OS version

How exactly are you trying to download 10.4.8?

The current Final Cut Pro version available from the Mac App Store is 11.1.1 and requires Sonoma. Unless you have previously downloaded it, there is no way to get an older version.

If you have downloaded Final Cut Pro in the past, regardless of version, you may be able to get a compatible version by downloading it from your Purchase history rather than from the store directly.

Apple seems to have limited past versions availability recently.

p.s. It is a good habit to always zip the old FCP version before updating it.

But my case is I got a older IMAC 27-inch Late 2015 that was not compatible with Sonoma OS and due to my iMac system was crashed , so I have to reinstall the OS , After that when i try to download the Final Cut Pro of my Purchase history with my Apple ID. Unfortunately it's prompt up with the messages said that (This application requires macOS 14.6 or later. You must update to macOS 14.6 in order to download and use this application).

How can I figure it out !
